If you are new to religion, exploring God, or getting to know Jesus Christ here are a few basic tasks to complete at the start.
And even if you have been at it for a while it may be good to check these off the list!
Choose your team
Sounds simple, but the first step is staking claim to your loyalty. You are either Team Light or Team Darkness.
Members of Team Light rejoice in the warmth on their faces as they walk to God.
Learn and Follow the Ten Commandments
Learn them. Make your own Covenant with God and keep it.
Remember, your heart is the true Ark of the Covenant.
Have Faith
Belief is the most powerful tool we have in our daily survival kit.
Jesus said you could move a mountain if you had just the tiniest grain of pure faith inside you.
When you lose that belief all the ties that bound you to that goal start to fray, darkness seeps into those gaps and before you know it what was once achievable now lies across a vast ocean of doubt.
Put in the work
You are saved by Grace.
Repentance for your sins is one prayer away.
While works cannot save you applying the Commandments and following the path paved by Jesus you are not only improving yourself but also those around you who are a witness to your dedication.
